High Maintenance Energy

 Did you cringe a little when you read the word "HIGH MAINTENANCE"? I can understand why. The high maintenance title has adopted a not so nice definition of an entitled, self-absorbed, spoiled attitude. The kind of woman that doesn't care  about the ramifications on others as long as she is satisfied that all her needs are met. I'm going to let you in on a little secret.... this is not what I believe a high maintenance woman to be!

   I see her as a woman that knows what she wants, what she deserves, where she is headed and travels the healthiest path to get there! She is uncompromising in settling for anything that doesnt add value to her life.  She is the complete opposite version of the self-centered counterpart the world has eye-rolled at. In fact, when she is fully in her high maintenance energy,  she becomes magnetically ICONIC!!!!

   There are many components that make up a woman of this viscosity. Let me familiarize you with the pillars of a high maintenance woman. 

♡ A HIGH MAINTENANCE WOMAN INVESTS IN HERSELF!

      Self care will always be a non-negotiable! You are the captain of your vessel.  If your vessel is left without maintenance or care, how far do you think it will take you?  Never feel guilty for putting time and energy into taking care of your physical body. It is the housing to your spiritual essence. Both your inner and outer components need attention for balance in life. 

   As a high maintenance woman,  you prioritize time to the little details of being a woman. I don't care if this next statement is deemed "incorrect or insensitive" but it's the truth nobody likes to stand on.... people,in fact, form their first opinion of you  based on what they see. WE ALL DO THIS....because it's the first thing that is presented to us when introduced to someone. Does your appearance tell the story of you as you would like it to be? ...

Does it reflect the worthiness and healing you've cultivated from within? The polish you've worked so hard on inside should be the shine showing on the outside. 

    This shows up through your hygiene, skincare and apparel.

Would you drive around in a muddy Mercedes? All the work and intricacy that went into making such an exquisite machine only to hide its beauty on the outside doesn't make much sense? 

  The same for a high maintenance woman.  Why would you not present yourself in all your glory, both inside and out? 

You invest into yourself through eating healthy foods to optimize your energy. A sluggish energy will give you excuses. 

   Take note of your clothing. Are you still wearing those old, worn-out sweats...are you wearing bras and panties that only serve the purpose of being called underwear...are you wearing the same clothes that have memories from 10-20 years ago? Your body is a feminine temple!!!!! Temples are adorned... not draped with protective tarps! Show your body the love it deserves and it will carry you the entire journey. 

   A high maintenance woman knows that her skin is her biggest organ. Its important to care for it from the inside out. Exfoliation, moisture and hydration is the key to her  physical glow. Like I stated earlier, she never disregards the details.  Her nails are clean and manicured. Her feet are soft and callous free. Her hair is flattering to her skin. Messy buns are not her every day style! 

♡A HIGH MAINTENANCE WOMAN IS ALWAYS GROWING!

   Moving beyond the investment of her appearance, a high maintenance woman gives to herself the time for spiritual growth.  She allows time to be with her thoughts and emotions. Self-awareness is crucial to her to be able to continue growing on her spiritual path. It's what makes her awaken to her greatness and her knowing that she is worth everything she invests in herself. 

   She understands that her high maintenance lifestyle is not to satisfy an energy of entitlement and selfishness but instead it let's her present the most glorious version of herself, spirituality, physically and emotionally in order to serve others to the best of her ability.  A woman that doesn't implement standards for herself is easily left without a source in which to serve from. The source is herself.  She must fill herself to be able to give. 

♡A HIGH MAINTENANCE WOMAN WILL ALWAYS HAVE A DESTINATION!

   A vision of her future is always whispering in her ear. It's the voice she talks to inside her head that keeps her reaching and leveling up to the next chapter in her life.  A high maintenance woman will always have a destination,  goal or version of herself that keeps her engaged with moving forward. To wake up everyday and feel like a record on repeat is not for her. She needs and desires the challenges of leveling up. A stagnant life is no different than prison. She wants everything she can get out of this life and will seek it out daily. 

A high maintenance woman is not a self-centered, egotistical woman that only cares about her gains but instead she is a woman with standards and non-negotiables because she knows they are what make her the most incredible version of herself.  That woman is now a woman capable and willing to give of herself to serve and help others become the best version of themselves! 

I hope you can see yourself as a high maintenance woman as I've described her.....she needs to be seen!
